GLOSSome Polish Swatch & Review!

Hello My Sweets and Happy Sunday! The weekend seemed to fly by, I may be posting on and off for the next week or so, I'm dealing with some personal issues and I'm having a hard time making it to the computer today.

Today I have for you a new indie brand. My friend Angela has started up GLOSSome polish and let me tell you I am LOVING these. The first one I am showing you is Neon Nation.

Neon Nation is a light pink base full of bright pink, purple, green glitters along with some neon pink hearts to fill in the mix!

The formula on this was absolutely incredible, especially for an indie. It was almost flawless, with most of my indies I found myself adding thinner to them to make them more usable. I tried this without to test the formula, and no thinner needed! The glitters came out in abundance! I used 2 coats of Neon Nation over two coats of Orly - Lollipop.

I love the labels, I'm a big sucker for anything homemade. I feel like a lot of indies are going to the professional labels (which believe me look great also) but I do love that extra touch.

Check out all of those neon glitters! I love that this is in a pink base, I think it gives it a lot of depth!

Next up, we have Pop Rock.

Pop Rock is a milky nude base, with purple and yellow hexes, and matching micro glitters! This is SO gorgeous, in real life it has so much more character.

I used 3 coats of this with no undies, with this one you definitely want to wait for coats to dry completely or you could get a little bit of dragging, the outcome was SO worth it.

You can find GLOSSome Polish on etsy, or you can follow her on facebook or instagram @glossomepolish. Angela is one of the sweetest people I've met and her customer service is outstanding. She kept in contact with me (even before she started selling!) Her polishes are beautiful and I see big things for her in the future.

What do you think of GLOSSome Polish? Do you have a favorite? They both carry a special place in my polish heart.

Until Next Time!

Daring Digits- Trailer Park Boys Collection!

Hello & Happy Saturday loves! WOW! Have I got a seriously amazing post ahead of me here. The title says it all, yup, that's right. A Trailer Park Boys collection. Are you asking yourself what TPB could be? Well, if you don't know what it is then, really, you are missing out on some AMAZINGLY funny stuff. (This is an adult series and would recommend parental consideration if under age) When I found out Ashley had made a Trailer Park Boys collection I could have DIED. It's rare when someone I ask, or even knows, knows what I am talking about, so let me introduce you to the main squeezes in this collection!

First up, lets meet Julian. Julian is my kind of guy. In the series (they also have a movie) Julian is the guy who starts their "so called" documentary. Julian spends most of his time on the show, drinking, dealing, and doing the most random things.

Julian is a black jelly base full of gold glitters. This reminds me of Ricky's black tshirt he is always wearing, and the gold glitters remind me of the whiskey he always has, ALWAYS.

I layered two coats of Julian over two coats of a plain black creme. This had one of the smoothest formulas I have ever used in a black jelly! I loved the way this looked on, and mainly want to keep it on forever because, let's face it, Julian's a good looking guy. (Mwuahahah)

Next up, we have Ricky. Ricky is a sleezeball kind of guy. Julian and him have been friends since childhood and do just about everything together. Ricky is known in the show mainly for growing dope and my personal favorite, he drinks anything out of anything he can find (bottoms of old soda bottles, tin foil you name it, he has drank out of it)

I layered one and a dabbed coat of Ricky over two coats of Zoya- Mitzi. I found this color to be very fitting to go under Ricky, green, to go with his addiction.

Last up, let's meet Bubbles. Oh Em Gee. I'm pretty sure I love Bubbles for every reason known to man. The main reason would be for his love of kitties. In the show Bubbles has numberous amounts of cats, wandering everywhere around him.

Bubbles is a clear base PACKED of iridescent glitters and shimmer. This polish hands down has to be the best polish in my collection *YES THAT IS HUGE!* But I couldn't stop looking at this. There are so many color shifts, imagine it layered over other colors *drooool*

I layered two coats of Bubbles over two coats of a plain black creme. GORGEOUS I TELL YOU!! Look at all the shimmer!!

I then decided to put matte topcoat onto this, to bring out the color shift from blue to purple.

This entire collection blew me out of the water and I am so glad I am the proud owner of this collection! Make sure to check out Daring Digits on facebook and also head over to her shop, the best thing is she offers both full size and mini size AND you get FREE SHIPPING on every order!!

ABC Challenge: J- Jindie Nails- Barney Blew Up!

Good Morning my loves and Happy Thursday! I'm a little late to today's post. Things have been a little hectic around here, but nothing that I can't manage! Today I have for you, Jindie Nails!

Jen is the amazing creator behind Jindie Nails. Every polish from her I have come across has been nothing but stunning. From the formula, down to the glitters, they are all unique in there own way. Jen is also a part of the neon matte glitter craze, and let me tell you, she does them EXTREMELY well. Enough babble, Onto Barney Blew Up!

Barney Blew Up is a lavender crelly base packed full of white, green, and lavendar hexes along with white hearts to represent, his heart! This really does look like Barney exploded. Now, if your anything like me, after watching Barney through your entire childhood and you have kids, and they watch Barney.. the big guy kind of grows on you. ;) AND he is a dinosaur afterall, so he can't be that bad!

This is two coats of Barney Blew Up over two coats of OPI- Lucky, Lucky, Lavender. The formula on this was remarkable, I could have easily built this up, but seeing as I wasn't all there when checking out and only got a mini, I need to treasure this one;) Definitely need a back up bottle!

You can find Jindie Nails on etsy here, but you can also find it on Llarowe as well. Jen gets a lot of orders when she does a restock, but it is so worth the "OMGZZZ I NEED A COMPUTER TO GET ME SOME JINDIEEEEEE" type of reaction I had my first time. Just Sayin'

Make sure to check out the other ladies that are with me in the ABC Challenge, next week is K... let's hope I can figure something out;)

Until Next Time!

Daring Digits- 80's Hits VOL 2

Hello again, my darlings! Happy Tuesday! Are you guys ready for the second part of Daring Digits 80's Hits collection? I know I am so let's get to it!

First up is, We Are the World (1985) USA Africa, inspired by colors of the earth, green, blue and fun flowers.

Let me just tell you how in LOVE I am with this polish, it has loads of green, blue and sweet yellow flowers. This is another one that I wore as a full mani as I couldn't stand to take this off right away. The flowers came out in abundances!

I layered two smooth coats of We Are the World over two coats of China Glaze- Custom Kicks, followed by a coat of gelous. I think of all of them this had the best formula, so silky smooth and perfect.

Next u, is Walk Like an Egyptian (1986) by The Bangles, inspired by the egyptian garb, the angles they walked in!

I die! I didn't even really see the copper colored glitters in it until I put it over the white base, this is so perfect and definitely reminds me of the Egyptians, the intricate jewelry and head pieces! Perfect!!

I layered two coats of Walk Like An Egyptian over two coats of Sinful Colors- Snow Me White, followed by a coat of gelous. This was so perfect together!

Then we have, Livin' On a Prayer (1987) by inspired by his blonde hair, leather jacket and ripped jeans.

BAH! Yes, this whole collection makes me want to shout with joy! LOAP is loaded with blue, yellow and black glitters all suspended in a goodness just waiting to be layered! I think this really does scream Bon Jovi, rad, and out there!

I layered two coats of Livin' On a Prayer over two coats of Illamasqua- Rampage. I loved this combination too, and I definitely will be wearing this again.

Next, we have Faith (1988) by George Michael inspired by the music video.

I am so thrilled with this polish, it was perfect in every way. This is a white crelly base packed with black and blue glitters. This was so milky and creamy, pure heaven.

This is three coats of Faith, no undies! Followed by a coat of gelous. I liked the effect of "sandwhiching"the glitters in the base.

And last, but certainly not least, Miss You Much (1989) by Janet Jackson inspired by her video and single cover.

This is my favorite of the entire collection. This, like a lot of other indies on the market is a black and white glitter topper, but what makes this one SO different and SO special is the gold to green shifting shimmer in it. I died a little when I saw the shimmer in the bottle.

I layered two coats of Miss You Much over Zoya- Carmen, I forsee this going over just about EVERY manicure! Gorgeous!

Like I said before I really love this entire collection, Ashley really made something special and I've fallen so in love with this. Don't forget Ashley is releasing this collection today here! Make sure to grab everything you can as I forsee these going quickly!!

Which of Vol 2 are you loving?

Until Next Time!

Daring Digits- 80's Hits VOL 1

Hello sweets and Happy Monday! I hope everyone's weekend was great, I took a small break to spend time with the boys and also, to work on this seriously amazing post. You are all in for a treat, and be prepared to drool! I am sharing with you Daring Digits new spring collection called 80's Hits!

Ashley, the amazing creator behind Daring Digits had made this collection based off of the biggest hits of the 80's. She has created a 10 piece collection, the biggest hit of each year has it's own polish. How clever is that?! Today I will be showing you VOL 1 (1980-1984) Let's begin shall we?!

First up, is Call me (1980) by Blondie, inspired by her album cover.

How insanely perfect is this? I could cry, and lick my fingers at the same time. Call me is a dusty bubble gum pink, filled with loads of blue and pink glitters. This reminded me so much of cotton candy, I wore this as a full mani because I couldn't bear to take it off.

This is two coats of Call Me over two coats of Sinful Colors- Pink Forever, followed by a coat of gelous. I could have used this on it's own, I would say three coats would give you full opacity. I'm so in love with this!

Next up, is Physical (1981) by Olivia Newton John and is inspired by the awesome outfit in her video.

I die! I seriously, could die. This combination of glitters is SO unique, it has loads of purple, white, and blue hexes all mixed together into, the greatest creation ever made! While I was swatching this I kept singing the song, so great!

This is two generous coats of Physical over one coat of Illamasqua- Muse, I had so much fun layering these polishes over different shades and I think this one fit perfectly.

Then we have, I Love Rock and Roll (1982) by Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, inspired by the band name and her outfit in the video.

Say whattt?! Yup, you are seeing it, an incredible mix of black and red hearts with loads of red bar glitter and black hexes. What a perfect polish for this song.

This is one and a dabbed coat of I Love Rock and Roll over two coats of China Glaze- Solar Power, followed by a coat of gelous. With this I did have to fish for the hearts a little, but I was extremely impatient and should have turned the bottle upside down but did not.

Next up is, Every Breathe You Take (1983) by The Police inspired by the single cover.

Can someone please slap me into next week? This is one hell of a polish. I had so many options for base colors, but wanted to choose something that I thought would make the blue, yellow, and red glitters stand out. Gorgeous I tell you, GORGEOUS!

This is two generous coats of Every Breathe You Take over two coats of Zoya- Arizona, followed by one coat of gelous.

Last for today is, Like A Virgin (1984) by Madonna, inspired by the innocence of white ;)

Any one else singing along with me yet? Haha, this one is KILLER. I promise you, you need this one in your life. It is the perfect mix of all white glitters you could think of poured into a bottle, to put this amazingness(I get it, that's not a word) onto your nails!

This is two generous coats of Like A Virgin over Sinful Colors- Sweet Tooth, followed by a coat of gelous. I mean it, you need this in your life.

The 80's Hits collection will be available in Daring Digits on Facebook to keep up with release and restock information and you can visit her site here as well!

Make sure to stop by tomorrow to see Vol 2 of the 80's Hits collection and to run off and get some;)

Which ones do you love? Any you plan on ordering?

Until Next Time!
