ABC Challenge: I- Indie

Hello & Happy Humpday! Today we have another post for the ABC Challenge, can I just say how much I am loving this challenge? It's given me the oppertunity to get to know all the amazing ladies in our group. It really has been great.

So for today I chose Indie, I know, not very creative but I've got a cold and couldn't think of anything else, and these are from the vault, so this really shows how sick I am, ugh:( For today remember the post I showed you here? On Tip Top Nails South Africa? Well today I am showing you one of the looks I did with it.

I layered two coats of HitPolish- Punked Up Kicks over Tip Top Nails- Blue Meets Green.

WOAH I LOVED this combo. I remember wearing this for almost a week, WITH NO TIP WEAR! I love the combination of matte glitters in PUK.

I'll let the photo's do the rest of the talking. I hope you liked this, although it was short and sweet, and something I wore a while ago.
Make sure to check out the other ladies in the challenge!

Until Next Time!

Dragon Scales

Two posts in one day?! I'm on a roll! I was going to wait to post this tomorrow but I just couldn't resist. I love these polishes so much and have one more to show!

Im showing you nail'd it unique polishes, dragon scales. If you haven't ordered from her yet she is a doll to work with and sent my polishes out next day! She has an etsy which she currently has nothing up but she restocks every couple of weeks and has tons of great polishes to choose from!

I have layered one coat of dragon scales over two coats of china glaze-kinetic candy followed by a coat of gelous and one coat of seche vite. Now dragon scales was a little thick for my liking so I put a couple drops of thinner in it and it was perfect! It consists of matte grey, blue, coral, pink, green, gold hex glitters and fine black and white glitters! It is so perfect and so bright and fun!

I hope you enjoyed and until next time!

The Nail Junkie- Fish

Hello! *waves* I'm so excited for today's post, I've had this on for 4 days and can't stop staring at my nails.

Today I'm showing you The Nail Junkie - fish. Aleta has created some of the most unique polishes I have seen in the indie world. She has everything from flowers, fruits, and her most recent line, Animals! I hurried and snatched up two that I couldn't live without! Fish and flamingo (I will show flamingo in a later post) Fish is a multicolored polish which flashes from a silvery blue to almost a golden green, with lots of blue holographic and silver holographic glitters in it. This is so stunning, pictures don't do this baby justice.

Ide also like to add that everytime you purchase from the nail junkie 10% of the proceeds go to a charity of her choice, this one touched me as she picked The Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition. I was having a hard time deciding whether or not I was going to go forward with adoption or keep my son carter (due November 26th) being a single mother this was hard. Although, I decided to parent him and raise him with my 2 1/2 old I support every aspect of adoption so this really had a special place in my heart.

You can purchase Fish or any polishes from her other lines on her site for $10 with free domestic shipping. She also includes goodies with her polishes. (I LOVE cutie balm)

I hope you enjoy and until next time!

Guess whos baaaack?

That's right! Hello everyone! I've taken FAR too long of a break from my blog. I've been going through quit a few personal battles and basically pulled away from anything and everything that made me happy. But things have gotten better, not 100% but better and I'm really excited to get back to blogging and I hope you enjoy what I've got coming!

I've been on etsy quit a lot latley and have really built up my Indie collection. I even stalked llarowe to grab some Dollish Polish and CrowsToes in her recent launch. So what better way to start a new on the blog? An Indie of course!

Today for you I chose Pretty & Polished, jawbreaker. I have a love for this polish as it was the first indie I had ever purchased and I stalked her etsy as well. I have the original version before she reformulated so mine has square red glitters stuck to the bottom but it doesn't bother me one bit! This polish is beautiful and the name explains it insanley well. Its a white jelly base with multi colored shaped and sized glitters suspended in it. There is so much depth to it it is incredible!

I did two coats of jawbreaker, then decided to pull out my new bundle monster set. Can I just say that this set blew away my expectations? The images are much larger and a lot easier to transfer. I used plate bm-323 for the rose image and used both a red and blue polish. (I used sinful colors minis from winter 2011 collection but my bottles don't have names on them) followed by a coat of seche vite. I got so many compliments at work and it really boosted my spirits to post! Thank you so much and I hope you stick with me to show you what I've got! Until next time.
