Cupcake tart!

Hello everyone! *waves to the new faces* I hope everyone is having a great day, I know I am! I finally finished unpacking from moving into our new apartment and my son loves it! His toys are already scattered across the house. I also received from nail mail from Jessica at love for lacquer. She had a few things for sale and 3 of them just so happened to be lemmings! So today I will be showing you one of them!

I am showing you pretty&polished-tart. Since the day I saw this baby I've been wanting it so bad. Everytime I caught a restock it would get cart jacked before I got to put in my info. I waited, caught another one, same thing. I was also a little impatient when she did her wish list so I waited it out and glad I did! Let me just say I love pretty&polished she restocks often but you can also purchase her polishes through llarowe as well.

Tart is a beautiful, what I call "crelly" not exactly a creme and not exactly a jelly but an in between. Its got a lavendar base with purple micro shimmer, blue and gold hex glitters and large see-through magenta and white hexes. I wasn't able to fish out a white hex but I did get out two magenta glitters. I used three thin coats.

>br>

Then I decided to stamp over it. I've actually been planning this mani since Jessica sent me the tracking on them (haha) I used sally Hansen coral rush and sally Hansen pronto purple with bundle monster plate bm-307. I mixed coral rush and pronto purple on the plate to get a mixed design. I then added small silver rhinestones to the top of the cupcake "frosting" I love this so much and hope you enjoy it too! Excuse the picture overload!

Don't forget, there will be a giveaway at 50 followers!

Until next time!

Dragon Scales

Two posts in one day?! I'm on a roll! I was going to wait to post this tomorrow but I just couldn't resist. I love these polishes so much and have one more to show!

Im showing you nail'd it unique polishes, dragon scales. If you haven't ordered from her yet she is a doll to work with and sent my polishes out next day! She has an etsy which she currently has nothing up but she restocks every couple of weeks and has tons of great polishes to choose from!

I have layered one coat of dragon scales over two coats of china glaze-kinetic candy followed by a coat of gelous and one coat of seche vite. Now dragon scales was a little thick for my liking so I put a couple drops of thinner in it and it was perfect! It consists of matte grey, blue, coral, pink, green, gold hex glitters and fine black and white glitters! It is so perfect and so bright and fun!

I hope you enjoyed and until next time!

We stamp on sundays: leafy:)

Hello and happy Sunday! I hope everyone has had a restful weekend! Tomorrow will start my weekend as I have worked 7 days in a row, can't wait for tomorrow! Today I have something exciting, my first time participating in the Sunday stamp challenge. I've been with adventures in stamping on facebook for quit a while and love to see the beautiful manis everyone creates. So today I had time to make an extra special mani for today's challenge which is "leafy"

To achieve this I used essence colour & go irreplaceable, I love this color, its a beautiful nude with gold shimmer. Now I'm almost positive (don't quote me) that this was discontinued, which makes me extremley sad and hope I can get my grubby little hands on extra. For the stamping images I used kleancolor metallic orange, kleancolor metallic green and julep delaunay from the most recent box. I love how this came out and hope you do too!

In other good news, ill be doing a giveaway at 50 followers in celebration of my followers and for getting myself a new laptop finally! I'm uber excited and hope you are too. It will be epic and international;)

Until next time!

The Nail Junkie- Fish

Hello! *waves* I'm so excited for today's post, I've had this on for 4 days and can't stop staring at my nails.

Today I'm showing you The Nail Junkie - fish. Aleta has created some of the most unique polishes I have seen in the indie world. She has everything from flowers, fruits, and her most recent line, Animals! I hurried and snatched up two that I couldn't live without! Fish and flamingo (I will show flamingo in a later post) Fish is a multicolored polish which flashes from a silvery blue to almost a golden green, with lots of blue holographic and silver holographic glitters in it. This is so stunning, pictures don't do this baby justice.

Ide also like to add that everytime you purchase from the nail junkie 10% of the proceeds go to a charity of her choice, this one touched me as she picked The Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition. I was having a hard time deciding whether or not I was going to go forward with adoption or keep my son carter (due November 26th) being a single mother this was hard. Although, I decided to parent him and raise him with my 2 1/2 old I support every aspect of adoption so this really had a special place in my heart.

You can purchase Fish or any polishes from her other lines on her site for $10 with free domestic shipping. She also includes goodies with her polishes. (I LOVE cutie balm)

I hope you enjoy and until next time!

I was nominated!

Hello all! I am so excited and pleased to share this with you today!

I was nominated for this Liebster Award by Michele over at Sunshine and Rainbows her blog is really wonderful and I think you should check her out. I've been blogging for almost a year now and haven't gotten a lot of posts in but I hope to change that in the next coming months, I've got some great things coming my way, Thank you to all of the followers I currently have and I hope to see more new faces around my side of the blogosphere soon!

Here's how it works:
1) The recipient must post 11 fun facts about themselves
2) The recipient must also answer 11 questions created by the award giver
3) The recipient must give the award to 11 new bloggers with less than 200 followers and post 11 questions for them to answer
4) These 11 bloggers must be told they have been given the award
5) They will in turn pass the award on to 11 new bloggers of their choice (no tagging back the award giver)

11 Fun facts:

1.I am due with my second boy on November 26th and I couldn't be any happier, my son is 2 1/2 so they will be 2 years and 9 months apart.

2.I work in an adult store. Not one of those disgusting holes in the wall, but a much nicer, open, clean enviorment and the best part is I get to help people everyday with things they didn't know they wanted. I've been the assistant manager for a little over a year now, worked there for 2 1/2 years.

3. I love to knit. Knitting along with polish relaxes me and keeps me sane on the days I feel like I can't take it anymore. I also make newborn/little girls hair bows. (Secret: I even make them for myself)

4. My father is my best friend, without him I don't think I could do half of the things I do. He has been a great role model to me and I thank him every day for it.

5. This kind of goes deep, but I have a sister who I have nothing to do with, she's been in a lot of trouble her whole life and is now in prison and won't be out for an extremley long time. Her kids however, have to be the brightest smartest kids on the planet. Soon my 6 year old nephew will be taking residency with my parents so that hopefully he can have the start of a healthy fresh place instead of the environment he has been used to his whole life.

6. I'm a 4'9 devil headed red head. When I was a kid I hated my hair so much that I colored it at every chance I got. But now I couldn't not live with my red hair and I embrace it just as it.

7. I'm 22 and feel like I'm 85. I've always been told that I'm mature for my age. I take life as it is and try to make the best of everything I have.

8. I LOVE butter(yes butter) and jelly sandwhiches. I eat at least 2 a day, and it's not even a pregnancy craving;)

9. I don't have a lot of friends, but I LOVE the ones I have and am extremley close to all of them. It's better to have 4 best friends than 100 that you aren't close with.

10. I have really bad anxiety. So bad to the point where I can seizure and throw myself unconscious. This is something I have been working on and luckily we have found some medication that works for me. I try to take it day by day, some days are good, some days are bad, some days I feel like I can't take the world.

11. I have lived on my own for 4 years and worked hard to where I have gotten. It wasn't easy at first, but that's okay. I enjoy working and will work everyday for the rest of my life if I have to.

1) When and why did you start blogging?

I started blogging in November of 2011, I originally started blogging because of all the nail polish I have accumulated over the years. It keeps me calm and I like the different colors and finishes but then I discovered stamping and nail art thanks to all of the lovely bloggers, now my world couldn't be complete without all of my stamping plates and nail brushes.

2) How many bottles of polish do you own?

Right now I'm up to around 450+ and I love every single one. A lot of colors I have doubles of or have a similar color but they are unique in each way. My indie stash is growing a lot as well and will continue to grow as long as I can make it.

3) What color do you have the most of in your collection?

Pink, by far. I love every shade of pink I can find. Light, sheer, creme, neon, bright. You name it I got it.

4) What is your first memory of nail polish? >br>When I was little my older sisters used to paint my nails and I remember how good it felt just to have something to look at on my hands. I'm not very close to one anymore, and the other we don't get to talk to as often as we like. (I have 3 sisters)

5) What do your friends/family think of your hobby?
When I talk about my stash and I tell people how many polishes I have they think I am crazy. Then I show them pictures and they are instantly asking me to do theirs. My coworkers (whom I am very close to) even find new nail designs for me online and ask me to recreate it in some way.

6) What are your hobbies other than blogging?
Knitting, making hair bows, and reading. I love to read and have a kindle that I read almost every night before bed. My favorite types of books are anything vampire. (I know, I know another one of those)

7) What's your favorite nail polish color?
My favorite color that I have in my stash is my Pretty&Polished Jawbreaker. This was the first indie I got and have used it 5+ times. I need a back up of this!

8) What would be your dream polish?
I don't currently own any holo's and I would really love to have some. I really would love a holo with chunky bits of multicolored holo hex glitters in it as well. *drool*

9) What is something you love, but everyone else hates.
This is kind of silly, but I love these things my coworkers call a "coke-concoction" it's a mix of coke icee and coca-cola. They are delicious and so refreshing especially in the Arizona summer heat.

10) What trends do you love?
Right now the one trend I really love are the small feather hair extensions. Unfortunately, I can't where these at work but I do love them. I also love all of the vintage clothing that is coming back. I love anything vintage.

11) What trends do you hate?

The off the shoulder sweatshirt, that comes mid belly. For some reason I just can't fathom why you would wear half a sweatshirt, when the point of having a sweatshirt is to stay cold?

Now it's my turn to nominate 11 lovely ladies from the blogosphere. I enjoy reading new blogs and look for them daily, as I am fairly new to blogging I like to see what everyone else comes up with. These ladies are very talented and I can't wait to see what else they come up with!

Punk rock princess

"If you could be my punk rock princess..."

Hello lovelies! Can you tell where I got the theme for mani today? I wore this over the week and loved it! The stamping defanitley was not perfect as I was rushing to hide from my kitten, but I still loved it! I used essie's super bossa nova, which is perfection in two coats. This is a deep pink with purple shimmer, in the sun this polish ROCKS! (No pun to the title there;)) for the stamping I used pure ice silver Mercedes and funky fingers black expressionism. Black expressionism has to be my favorite one coat black, ever. Ive used it so much I'm down to about 1/4 of the bottle! Time to hit up Sally's;) I used bm-316 for the design. The studs are from bornpretty I love this site so much, so many nail art products for cheap! I also received my rhinestones from them as well.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did and I've got plenty more where it came from! Until next time!

Shimmer polish- Sammi

Hello! Welcome and boy do I have a great polish for you today. I've been so excited I nearly gave myself a heart attack when opening the mail box. I ordered a custom polish from Cindy, the mastermind behind shimmer polish. If you haven't seen her polishes, I dare you to check out her etsy. You will find nothing but beautiful handmade polishes that really have that something extra special to them.

Let me tell you a little about Cindy, she blew my mind. not only is her customer service incredible, but she made something for me that was down right more than perfect. I contacted her about my custom, two days later I had a response, I told her some of my favorite colors, she told me it would take about a week to make. I was totally okay with this as I've waited a few weeks for an already made to ship polish. Well, two days after that she emailed me to let me know my polish was ready! I couldn't believe it. Then a few short days I was drooling over the pretty I had in my hand. She was so sweet during the whole process and this will forever make me a shimmer polish owner.

Okay, step away from the gooshey stuff (haha) my polish is made up of pink, black, grey, holo and small blue, red, and purple glitters. This polish has so much depth and love I can't stop staring at my fingers as I type this. I layered my sammi over china glaze-dance baby. I wish I would have swatched this over black also, but I can always make another post;) Cindy made this especially for me, she has many other polishes in her shop that are to die for. Please visit her etsy and give her a try, I promise you won't be dissapointed. I hope you enjoy and until next time!
