Hello my loves and happy Tuesday! I was hoping to have this post up yesterday but I was stuck in bed with a KILLER migraine. I can't wait to show you this collection, if you haven't seen my post of Part One you can find it here.
The biggest and best difference of this collection is it is so different from part one but yet accompanies it SO well. Let's get going and see some beautiful polishes.
First up is Bella Dancerella. This polish is named after her niece Bella, and is "a light purple crelly with purple flakes, hot pink stars, hot pink glitters, and micro glitters." This, is my kind of polish. I told Danyl when she first posted sneak peaks that I would definitely love it, and that I do!
I think the light purple with the hot pink glitters is what makes this different. I haven't seen something like this pop up in the indie world and for that this gets an A++ from me!
For this swatch I used three thin coats topped with topcoat. I loved seeing each star come out and slide onto my nail. *Now that I read that back to myself it sounds a bit dirty ;)* But really, I love shaped glitters, there isn't many I can't pass up.
You can really see all of the micro glitter in this macro bottle shot. What do you think of Bella Dancerella?
Next up is Bloom Where You're Planted. WOW. Can we please take a moment of silence to just look at this. It's a jam packed glitter bomb filled with different color micro glitter.
I couldn't believe my eyes after I put this on. I couldn't stop staring at the reflection of glitters against the light, it was like watching colorful christmas lights dancing on my nails. Odd description, but really, this is beyond gorgeous.
I used two delicious coats, yes, TWO! Plus two coats of topcoat to smooth it out. I was really surprised that it wasn't very glitter hungry with the topcoat but I did the second coat to ensure it to be smooth.
This is one that I will be wearing a lot for spring/summer. I can't wait to wear it poolside :)
Next up is Sugar Buns Kins. OH HELLO BEAUTIFUL POLISH! I know, your probably dumbfounded by now, I know I was. This is another jam packed glitter bomb full of white and multi colored micro glitters.
This one by far stunned me the most. The pink, yellow and purple micro glitters along with loads of iridescent glitter is out right OUTSTANDING. I loved this one so much that after swatching all of the polishes, I did a full manicure with this. I got loads of compliments and people asking where I got this polish. By now I should carry around Danyl's business cards haha!
I think that her nieces carry some magical dust, because every polish that she makes after them is nothing but perfection.
Just look at that macro shot. I. Cant. Even. For my swatch I used two coats plus two coats of topcoat to even it out.
Next up is I See You Peppin'. This is a beautiful bright pink crelly filled with white and hot pink micro glitters.
I'm really starting to love the micro glitters throughout this collection. Again, this isn't something like anything I own in my collection. The formula was smooth, buttery and full of joy.
This made my hands look so tan, I was very happy. I'm usually extremely pastey so this one just made me fool *good.* And I don't get that very often. I used three easy thin coats topped with HK Girl.
Isn't it beautiful? What a great color combination. Another one I can see myself wearing often through spring and summer.
Now we have Diamond in the Rough. "The month of April birthstone is diamond. This polish is a light gray crelly packed full with all different size rainbow shifting glitters."
I was so upset I couldn't quit catch the shift of the glitters in this one. But I can tell you that it is PERFECT. It really does look like a diamond on your nails with the rainbow of glitters dancing on your nails.
For this swatch I used three thin coats plus topcoat. You can see a little VNL even after three coats but that didn't bother me one bit. I was more concentrated on the glitters :) But you could easily layer this over a muted grey color, something similar to China Glaze Seaspray to get a more opaque outcome.
Lastly, we have Time for Flip Flops. This is a beautiful bright teal with green and white micro glitters.
I love that in most of these polishes there is micro glitter.
Another great polish for spring. I can't wait to do a pedicure with this one, and trust me when I say this, I AM NOT a foot gal. I rarely never (lol) do my toe nails. But this color just screams pedicure time.
For this I used two creamy coats of TFFF topped with HK Girl.
Isn't it a beauty? Oh how I can't believe this whole collection has been nothing but BEAUTIFUL polishes.
Sugar Buns Kins and Bloom Where You're Planted were the two that stunned me most. These are polishes that I saw and didn't know I needed them in my collection until I put them on. They are so gorgeous and could be used in several different ways!
This whole collection is available now on her etsy for $8.00 each or $42.00 for the whole collection. You don't want to miss out on Part One or Part Two of this collection. Duh Nail Polish has become one of my favorite indie brands and working with Danyl has been such a pleasure.
Which are your favorites?
Until Next Time!
