ABC Challenge: H- Glitter Daze- Hearts in Her Eyes

Happy Day Everyone! Today calls for the letter H for the ABC Challenge I am participating in! To be honest with you, when I was thinking about today I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to use. I thought about it all day while I was at work, and by the time I got home I still had no idea. So as I was getting started, I opened one of my "indie" polish drawers, and there she was, standing, label facing up, calling my name. Hearts in Her Eyes, how perfect was this?!?!! This is also one of my untrieds so how could I NOT use it?

I ordered a few GlitterDaze polishes during the "Free Sample February" and got lots of extra goodies in my box, a rose scented nail polish remover (this stuff is AMAZING by the way, I really hope they start selling it, I'm a HUGE fan of anything rose scented) a rose scented hand bath fizzy, and a sample of their body butter.

Hearts in Her Eyes is a gorgeous medium pink crelly, with loads of white, black, red and holo purple glitters, white hearts, and large black round glitters. This is SO squishy, and delicate and super girly.

This was a really easy polish to work with, no thickening or glooping, I did have to fish for the heart glitter a little bit, but nothing a quick turn of the bottle for a few moments couldn't have fixed!

For my swatch I used 3 thin coats of Hearts in Her Eyes with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Cult Nails- Wicked Fast.

I would highly recommend GlitterDaze, not only is their site EXTREMELY functional, but fasting was super quick and the packaging, oh lawdy, the packaging. I really wish I had gotten a picture of it, but they put so much detail and love into the packaging, I felt like I was opening presents on Christmas Day.

You can find GlitterDaze on their website here. Full size bottles go for $11.00 and mini's are $7.00. You will definitely be seeing more from me again, as I bought 7 other polishes:) WAHOO!

Until Next Time!

Yo, Where My Peeps At?!

Good Morning Loveilies and Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are doing well, and I just want to take the time to all my followers, new and forever ones<

Today I have for you one of KBShimmers new spring collection polishes, Where My Peeps At?

I have been a long time fan of KBShimmer, I actually remember the first time I bought my first polishes, was June 18th of last year, because she had restocked on my birthday:) Christy is so amazing, and every polish she has is worth every single penny spent on them.

Where My Peeps At is a yellow based polish with loads of pastel colored circle glitters and matching micro glitter. This truly is a beautiful mix of colors, and really reminds me of spring and Easter which is just around the corner.

I have layered two coats of Where My Peeps At over 2 coats of Sinful Colors- Unicorn. Unicorn is the perfect undies for this polish, enough to make the yellow base pop, without overtaking it beautiful color.

See all those circle glitters? I love me some circles! I did pick up all but two of the spring collection and I definitely need to get the rest put into my stash!

Christy doesn't just make nailpolish either, while I was picking up my collection, I also grabbed a Vanilla Whipped Shea butter which smells DIVINE! I plan on grabbing some bath bombs as well.

You can find KBShimmer on their site here, she doesn't ship internationally. However, Harlow&Co also carries KBShimmer and they do ship internationally! Win, win!

What do you think of Where My Peeps At? Did you pick up any of the spring collection, or have you picked up older collections?

Until Next Time!

From the vault- Cult Nails: I Got Distracted

Hello & Happy Sunday! I hope that you all had a pleasant and restful weekend, now time to get ready for the week ahead! Today I have an older swatch, but definitely a looker! Cult Nails: I Got Distracted.

I took advantage and picked up quite a few polishes when Cult Nails had their "new year" sale right before their prices had to go up. I Got Distracted had been on my lemming list for quite some time and I'm so glad I got it when I did.

I Got Distracted is a deep blackened green base with loads of holographic glitter and larger green glitter. The green glitter is what really stood out to me with this one and looked a lot like a "galaxy" polish. I will definitely be keeping this close in hand so that I can wear it often.

This is two flawless buttery coats of IGD, this really did have one of the best formulas for an indie that I've ever had. No balding, patching or streaking. Perfection!

I can't get enough of it! This really is stunning, and you'de have to have it to know the true love and perfection this polish really is.

DIESSS. So beautiful. Have you joined the Cult? Which is your favorite polish from them?

Some of the other goodies I picked up from the sale! :)

Until Next Time!

Zoya Pixie Dust- Chyna

Good Morning everyone! I hope everyone has a great start to their weekend! This weekend isn't much of a weekend for me as I am working the whole time, BUT, I will have some lovely things to show you! Starting with Zoya Pixie Dust- Chyna!

I was SO excited when I saw the press release for these, then Victoria over at the Manicurator posted the first swatch photo's I had seen, it was love at first sight. So needless to say I bought the entire set. It was really hard picking the color I wanted to wear first, as I really love every single shade, but I decided since I will be in my black on black "uniform" that red would stand out well!

Chyna is a gorgeous deep red with loads of red metallic glitters? sand particles? I'm not sure what to call them but it looks so much like sugar I'de eat it! MMM. Chyna was also so smooth applying, the signature Zoya formula! This is 2 coats with no topcoat.

What is the next Pixie Dust color you'd like to see? or maybe you'de like to see something from the Lovely collection?

You can find Zoya polish here and when you sign up for a new Zoya account you automatically get a coupon for a free polish with your purchase, if you add 2 more bottles you get free shipping!

What do you think of Chyna? Did you pick up any Pixie Dust?

Until Next Time!

LynBDesigns Land Before Time Collection!

Hello my sweets!!! Today I have for you, what I've been waiting for, the release of LynBDesigns Land Before Time Collection! This actually is really special to me, because I came to Jenna with an idea of making polishes based off of the movie the Land Before Time. If you don't know me, then you wouldn't know that besides nail polish, I'm obsessed with Dinosaurs. Yes, I said it, Dinosaurs. I don't really know why, it started when I was in high school, my nickname was even SammisaurousRex (silly I know) Let me just say, I am so glad I have two boys, because EVERYTHING is Dinosaur!!

So Jenna willingly took on my ideas of these polishes, based off of the characters Little Foot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie and Spike. She ran with it, and made them even more amazing then I could have imagined. Then she decided that she loved them as much as I did, and asked if she could use them as a collection in her shop! I was so honored and happy of course I said yes! So here I am today, to show you our collaboration collection and to also introduce them into her shop as they are being released.. TODAY!

First up, Little Foot described as "a purpley grey crelly base with small white hexes and various silver glitters"

Do you see it? Do you see the beautifulness that is this polish? This portrays Little Foot so well. I'm so happy with the way that this came out, when she showed me preview pics I wanted them right that second.

This is three thin coats with a coat of Wicked Fast. How perfect is this? Are you ready for more?

Next, Cera described as "a creamy light orange color with scattered small yellow, orange, and pink glitters, with flakies tossed in for fun"

This one is so stunning, I have such fair colored skin and most colors like this don't work for me, and even Jenna said it does for her as well, but this one, this one I could wear all day, every day and never not like it. The multi colored glitters, especially the pinks really pop in the sun. Oh I'm in love.

This is two coats topped with Wicked Fast. This is so perfect and certainly a shade you could wear year round.

Next, Ducky described as "a bright springy green color that has a ton of small glitters to offer, greens, gold and yellow."

WOW. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jenna knows her shimmers. I can't even tell you how much pictures don't do this polish justice. It is so beautiful in person, the gold has such a huge effect on the nail.

This is three thin coats, I did not want to use undies with this as I wanted everyone to see how truly magical it is. I don't mind the VNL, it's so worth it!

Next, Petrie described as "a creamy white base that features larger black hexes, strips and diamond, gold flakies and other various small glitters"

Have I killed you yet? I'm practically dead over here! Isn't Petrie so cute?! yes, cute. I love the soft deilcate touch it has even with the black glitters. Petrie is a very delicate character, this polish suits him well.

This is one thin coat over OPI- Gargantuan Green Grape. I liked it over white, but over this spring green made it even better. I'm loving everything about Petrie.

Last, but not least, Spike described as "a glitter bomb much like the character, messy and sloppy but adorable. Iridescent squares, gold flowers, gold holo hexes and so many more colors"

This really is such an adorable polish, so many different glitters and colors, the little flowers make this a million times better and really are a pick me up.

I have one coat over Ducky. So gorgeous, again, Jenna has blown me AWAY!

And that Ladies & Gents, concludes the Land Before Time collection. Which ones do you love? Me? I LOVE THEM ALL! If I HAD to pick a favorite, I'de pick Ducky.

Which ones will you be picking up? Don't forget to stop over at LynBDesigns to pick yours up TODAY!!

Until Next Time!

LynBDesigns Dweam Wiffim a Dweam: Day 4

Sadly, today is the end of the Dweam Wiffim a Dweam collection, but tomorrow we have something exciting in store. For now, I'll show you the last 4 I have to show.

First up, Iocaine Powder described as "Small flakies, microfine holographic powder, and microfine iridescent glitter."

Holy goodness, is this a great one to start with or what? This is so beautiful I can hardly stand it, all of the blue, green and purple from the iridescent glitters.

This is one, yes ONE, coat of Iocaine Powder over Sinful Colors Black on Black. So gorgeous, this one I know I will wear over and over again. It would be really beautiful over a deep purple.

Next, we have Shrieking Eels described as "a gunmetal grey color that has both green and purple shimmer."

One thing I can tell you, is Jenna really knows her shimmers. I've never encountered an indie that hasn't been a terrible streaky mess for a shimmer. Hers always stand out and make me want to lick my fingers, yup I said it, Lick em.

This is three thin coats with a coat of Wicked Fast. When you enlarge the photo you can see the blue and purple shimmer dancing around.

Now we have, Dread Pirate Westley described as "a clear based polish packed with all sorts of black glitters."

Nope, your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. Yes, it's a black glitter! This is so unlike anything in my stash as far as a black glitter goes. Dread Pirate Westley has so many different types of glitters, hexes, shreds, diamonds, you name it, it has it!

I've layered one coat over Shrieking Eels, topped with Wicked Fast.

Finally, we have Six Fingered Man described as "a black jelly based polish that has gold, silver, and white glitters scattered throughout."

I'm really in love with this, the gold and silver glitters in this polish really make it something special.

I've layered two coats over Sinful Colors Black on Black topped with Wicked Fast. So gorgeous!!

And this concludes the Dweam Wiffim a Dweam collection. What did you think of the collection? Have you picked up any for yourself? Don't forget to check out Jenna's etsy and use code CUPID to get 50% off! Make sure to stop back by tomorrow, as we have something exciting in store for you!

Until Next Time!
